Creating a Resource for a Non-Profit
Joel’s Place for Children is a non-profit, free-of-charge bereavement center offering multiple grief support services for children in their grief journey. However, in early 2010, they did not have a functional website to support its effort.
With a very small operating budget, the organization was looking for help with online marketing and website efforts. As part of the commitment to community service, Digital Insight Labs created a website for Joel’s Place.
After the launch of the website in September 2009, Joel’s Place for Children saw a 63% increase in website traffic. It also had been receiving anecdotal evidence through comments about the website and increased participation, that the website was helping to support its ongoing efforts to reach families and schools in the Northeast Ohio Area.
